Confessions Of A Twenty-Fine Year Old
I giggled as I scrolled through Instagram and double-tapped a meme that listed “5 Must-haves by the Time You Turn 30”. Among them; a drawer full of random cords, Tupperware with missing lids, sleep deprivation, a plastic bag full of other bags, and, of course, anxiety. As a 90’s Baby who is hitting the big 3.0 this year with way less accomplishments than I had planned, I’m proud to say that this sarcastic must-have list really made me feel better since I’ve definitely had everything on that list. What’s even funnier is how it made me recall all the unrealistic expectations I piled onto my plate with strict deadlines; you know, the standard cookie-cutter goal to be married, have 2 kids (a boy and a girl to be precise) have a nice house, and a fast car, and juggle all this with a bomb-ass career, all at once, all by the age of 25. 😑 via Instagram @inspire_me_home_decor I mean, I have accomplished some great things on my journey up to the Dirty-Thirty;
